About Claira

Strategic Communicator | Project Manager | Digital Marketer | Fundraising Advocate | AI-Adaptive Professional

With a BA in Communications from Carleton University and a Marketing Certification complementing my Alma Cum Laude degree from the Richard Robinson Academy, I’ve built a career at the intersection of creativity, strategy, and impact.

For over 20 years, I’ve led projects and produced events across industries—from corporate functions and virtual conferences to film festivals, awards shows, seminars, and weddings. My hands-on experience has been instrumental in earning my certification in Digital Marketing & Branding, and it’s what continues to drive my evolution as a communications and tech-forward professional.

Rooted in the hospitality and event industry, I’ve developed a strong appreciation for what thoughtful planning, collaboration, and hard work can accomplish. That same mindset led me to philanthropy—where I’ve spent over 12 years supporting fundraising initiatives, with a special focus on local community engagement and, more recently, targeted philanthropic ventures.

My proficiency in digital marketing has opened the door to continuous learning and growth—particularly in the fast-moving world of AI technologies and software migration. As businesses transform, so has my skill set. Exploring AI’s role in communication, branding, and workplace efficiency has become a defining part of the current chapter in my career.

Today, I remain focused on delivering meaningful experiences, championing causes I care about, and staying ahead of the curve in digital strategy, media, and emerging technologies. The road has been dynamic—and I’m just getting started.
