For years I have been a Ottawa wine and food attendee. I took a break when their loopy roller coaster ride with customer service started to compromise.

Everyone has their reservations about the event (this one right here included) but I am a supporter of all things eventful and anything and everything that brings people out together in Ottawa.

Therefor, I went. The grape stomping was interesting, nothing beats a 83 year old Italian playing an accordion (my childhood relived!).

A mesmerizing welcome with Evoo Greek Kitchen in the middle front of the entrance with bite size gyros & taramosalatta dips and things. Talk about a Hello!

Next stop the bite size fish and chips from Woodys, every bite just as good as the last.

Spotted Villa Maria wines, my new found favourite. Enjoyed every sip of their new Pinot, which I didn’t know existed, but glad it does.

Moved on over to Craft, probably the one particular booth which had a more foodie take on their food sample. A deconstructed sushi made with … Bacon! Yes oh yes!

The moved on over to some vino, not like I wanted to wash the delicious taste of Crafts ‘sushi’ but saw the 19 Crimes sign and had to see what the fuzz was all about.

It was good, maybe not my top pick but never the less good.

To end the night on a sweet note, donut truck ‘Donut Rain On My Parade’ was serving up warm and delicious bites of donuts.

Ended on a delicious sweet note of sugar and cinnamon 🙂
