I’m an avid Ottawa supporter of festivals, concerts, entertainment etc. When I first heard of City Folk, I thought straw hats and guitars (dunno why, but call me ignorant) so when I read one of my all time favs, Mister Tiller, was coming to Ottawa I jumped up! 

We endured a few hipcups during the ticket purchasing process. I guess their merge into a big city festival is slowing growing, but once brought to their attention, they went above and beyond, and I mean: ABOVE AND BEYOND. 

We had a time of our lives! 

VIP area was comfortable, the accustoms were bomb but the energy was everything. 

I must say, something about a Louisville Kentucky guy thanking his thousands of fans for helping him put his daughter through private school, just does something to you. It touches your soul. 

His highly recognized album Trap Soul, is one reminiscent of the sound and pain the great Marvin Gaye would express. Something R and B music was needing latetly.
