Yesterday was the start to a great Monday as I was cordially invited to a blind tasting for Gabbiano wines.
I must say, I am an adamant wine lover by trade, but this experience was new, fun and quiet educational. We rated 10 wines blindly, rating them for nose and tasting notes, then rating them from favourite to least. I got to learn sooo much of the compositions that make a wine great, I think the magic and delicacy in a wine is present when meeting wine makers. Their passion exudes in their wines and its expressed in every grape. I’m glad wineries are starting to count the voice of us young professionals, because we want to learn more, we know a good wine and now have the funds to explore our palette 🙂

I have a new and devoted love for a good Chianti, and I thank Natalie Maclean and the Gabbiano family for that!

Highly recommended is the Gabbiano, Solatio (ps. With a delicious pork loin broth soup from Sidedoor Restaurant!)
